Platinum metals are catalysts for change
Roughly 75% of Canada's platinum metals are mined in Ontario, which is home to the only primary PGM mine in the country. The rest are produced as a byproduct of nickel mining. Impala Canada's Lac des Iles Mine, northwest of Thunder Bay, Ontario, is the only primary PGM producing operation in Canada.
